I had a total right hip replacement on the 13th April 2022. The operation was carried out by Mr Reshid Berber
I found Mr Berber to be completely professional, highly skilled and extremally courteous
throughout the whole procedure and would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone requiring similar surgery

I was referred to Mr Berber at the Park Hospital at the beginning of March for a torn cartilage sports injury to my knee. Immediately he put me at ease by letting me know what my injury was and a plan was put in place to help get me pain free and continue my sport. Mr Berber carried out a knee arthroscopy at the end of April and I am now feeling pretty much fully recovered and pain free. The care I received from Mr Berber, his team and the staff at the Park Hospital was fantastic and I won't hesitate to return to Mr Berber and the Park Hospital if needed in the future. Thank you

I was extremely apprehensive about my knee replacement and refused the operation for six years. However, due to mobility issues cause by severe pain I decided to go ahead with a referral.
From the very first consultation I received with Mr Berber I felt reassured and listened to with regard to my concerns. Mr Berber was extremely empathetic towards my concerns regarding outcomes and the procedure itself.
Whilst in the hospital Mr Berber visited me numerous times to explain what was going to happen, who would be involved and what to expect before, during and after my operation in order that I understood every aspect of my recovery and to alleviate any stress I was feeling. He showed compassion, concern, empathy and understanding throughout and I highly recommend him. I am now pain free in my right leg and Mr Berber will be replacing my left knee very soon.

Mr Reshid Berber is a fellowship-trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery. His NHS practice is based at Nottingham University Hospitals and his private practice is based at The Park Hospital, BMI Healthcare Nottingham.
Mr Berber graduated from University College London, and trained in London before moving to the East Midlands where he undertook specialist training on the highly regarded training programmes across both Nottingham and Leicester.
Mr Berber was awarded a PhD from University College London, for completing a programme of internationally recognised research based at the prestigious Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. Mr Berber has published numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and has received numerous awards in recognition of his research activities.
